At G.G. Events, we believe planning your wedding should be as joyful and meaningful as the celebration itself. I'm Terri Gilbreath, and for over 20 years, I’ve had the incredible honor of planning weddings and events that are not only beautiful, but deeply personal and thoughtfully executed.

From the very beginning, I’ve been drawn to celebration. As a kid, I spent hours sketching wedding dresses and hosting themed parties. That passion turned into a career when I began working in a bridal shop at 18—eventually gaining hands-on experience in fashion, florals, invitations, catering, venue management, and more. This background gave me a comprehensive foundation that still shapes how I serve our couples today.

From 3D floorplans and custom floral renderings to seamless logistics and tailored guest experiences, we combine tech-savvy planning with a high-touch approach. Our goal? To make your planning process as stress-free and streamlined as possible, while creating a wedding that’s timeless, stylish, and undeniably you.

I also love that G.G. Events remains a family business. You’ll often see my dad, Raymond, on-site as our behind-the-scenes handyman, and recently, my daughter Lizzie has started learning the ropes too. We bring that same warmth and care into every wedding we plan.

A Few Fun Facts About Me

✦ Breast Cancer Survivor – I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Negative Breast Cancer in 2023. After chemo, immunotherapy, and surgery, I’m back doing what I love—and even worked weddings during treatment.

✦ Background in Medicine – I was once on the path to becoming a nurse! I’m a certified phlebotomist and spent time at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville before the wedding world stole my heart.

✦ Obsessed with All Things British – Seriously. My kids are even named after British places and figures.

✦ Book Lover & Fantasy Nerd – When I’m not planning weddings, I’m deep into a fantasy novel, romance, or thriller. (Still waiting on my Hogwarts letter or for the fae to whisk me away.)
